Hey, Rejoice with me! I am road tripping but had to pull over and share this phone call that I just received from China with you;

I just received a phone call from a gentleman in China. He wanted me to know that he has seen photos of my sculpture of Jesus, The Lamb of God. He was very moved by it and wanted to tell me how much it means to him that I made it. It amazes me to see all the wonderful things that God is doing. Here I am, a single mother, from Florida living in Oklahoma; following my dreams and God just reaches out through who I am and touches people around the world. He is so precious to me.

(I love you God, so very much!)

I have personally heard back from people impacted by my sculptures from Gremany, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela, Canada, the Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Indonesia, Africa, China, Italy, Vietnam, Israel, England, the United States, obviously and several other countries that escape me right now as I am traveling. I love what God has me doing with my life for His glory.

Reverse April Fools Day is in effect.

E was roaring with laughter as he made “stickie notes” to place on the backs of the unsuspecting Church goers in celebration of April Fools days today… You know, all of the classics like; “I am a Nerd!” “Please Kick Me!” etc. and he says to me, “I love April Fool’s day; it is the only day that I can actually be me.”

LOL … my little prankster always seems to make me smile.

So anyways, you can imagine his disappointment when we pulled into the church parking lot without any stickie notes. And I hate to see my little guy bummed out so I glanced around for some blank stickies… Then the proverbial light bulb lit up over my head. I smiled, bent down and suggested, “Just April fools them on being April Fooled.” his face lit up!! His grin grew larger than his cheeks could contain and his eyes sparkled in delight.

He walked up to the unsuspecting, “Hey man, did someone put a ‘Kick Me’ note on your back?” the person blushed and started reaching and feeling their back to find the note (which wasn’t there)… Then he’d giggle and say the glorious sentence that he waits all year to proclaim… “April Fools!!”

…and so on… It was truly a successful April Fools Day.

I am so blessed; I love my children so much.

Awwww, Jason Ashley Wright did a wonderful job on the article in today’s Tulsa World and Mike Wyke took some wonderful photos. (Thank you both so very much!!)

…And, “just for the record” I had no idea that I made a “Kissie-lip” face when I am concentrating on sculpting… LOL!!! However, my arm on the second page of the article looks down right muscular. Oh yeah! :))

On the front page of the Scene section of today’s Tulsa World is an article about my 4 life sized sculptures, The Broward Law Enforcement Memorial. :)

Jason from the Tulsa World just texted me; the article that he wrote about me sculpting The Broward Law Enforcement Memorial will be in Sunday’s paper instead of tomorrow’s. :))

I stopped working on my sculpture of Carla for a few minutes this morning to step outside and enjoy the sunrise. This wasn’t a Florida sunrise with the sun dancing on the water’s ripples and tips albeit just as majestic and beautiful in it’s own Oklahoman way. The birds singing throughout the sky dominated by emerging brightness and lavished in color. The distant oil pumps churning out liquid gold from just beneath the earth’s surface. The smell is of sweet hay instead of salty air as the display of brightly colored dreams smoothly fade into a peaceful day and the roar of traffic begins to mimic the sounds of an ocean’s waves that I would otherwise be missing on this beautiful morning. I enjoy the cool breath of air flowing across my forehead and the sculpting that lays on my work bench awaiting my touch, I am thankful for a God who loves us so much.
